Bureau Veritas Romania: Business of 1 million euros in the food industry, in 2018

Bureau Veritas Romania, the largest certification and audit service provider in the food industry, estimates 1 million euros of agri-food audits in 2018.

The company, global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) attended last week, as Exclusive Partner, at the IFS Conference in Romania. IFS (International Featured Standard) certification are highly  demanded services on the Romanian market, as all major retailers often impose on food producers as a condition of listing the goods.

In Bureau Veritas, IFS Food certification is available under 4 international accreditations (Danish, Polish, Spanish and French), while IFS Logistic, IFS Broker and IFS HPC are available under a Danish or Italian accreditation.

The IFS Conference, which brought together about 150 participants in the food and retail industry, was also attended by Bureau Veritas Romania's top clients such as Scandia, Velpitar, Phoenixy (Gusto brand), Golden Foods (Elmas brand), Angst and CrisTim.

The event had as main topics: the new IFS doctrine, food fraud, allergens management, pest control, foreign bodies management, etc.
