ID LOGISTICS ITALY: OPENING OF A NEW COUNTRY WITH GREAT POTENTIAL
Orgon, 7 June 2022 – In order to support the development of one of its major customers, an international player in e-commerce, ID Logistics is setting up operations for the first time in Italy, opening a logistics platform in Casei Gerola, between Milan and Genoa. This new subsidiary completes ID Logistics' coverage of continental Europe, offering a global solution to all its major international customers.

The entry into the Italian market is in alignment with the company's strategy, whose objective is to become a global and flexible partner at the service of key accounts on the European market. ID Logistics is now anchored in one of the leading contract logistics markets in continental Europe and covers more than 80% of this market. With the establishment of a dedicated team, ID Logistics aims for rapid development in the Italian peninsula.

CASEI GIROLA, A SITE WITH STRONG ENVIRONMENTAL-FOCUSED QUALITIES
The new site, in operation since June 1st, 2022, manages non-sortable products on behalf of an international e-commerce player. The technologies implemented integrate all the processes developed by ID Logistics for this customer for which the company is now running operations in 6 different countries.
Strategically located near the A7 (Milan/Genoa) and A21 (Turin/Brescia) motorways, ID Logistics' new site is directly connected to the main capitals of north-west Italy. With a surface area of 62,900 m² and a capacity of 54,000 m3, it can receive up to 55,000 units/ day and ship up to 60,000 units, serving more than 80 different destinations.
The site operates with 350 daily employees and will ramp up to 500 employees during peak periods.
The facility itself is certified LEED Platinum (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), one of the most demanding certifications in terms of reducing negative environmental impact. The building is equipped with solar panels and green walls which promote biodiversity and limit the warming of the building and offset the CO2 emissions generated by the facility. It also features a water recycling system and LED lighting, which offers significant energy savings. Waste is minimized via processes in a specific sorting area.

ID Logistics' strong experience in the e-commerce sector and the involvement of its teams were the main factors in the success of this operation. In less than 3 months and thanks to a close collaboration with its client, the company's teams were able to carry out all the stages of the project at the same time: from the search for the ideal location to the modeling of the technical solution, all associated with an ambitious operational requirement.
