CCIFER, PARTNER OF THE FOREIGN INVESTORS SUMMIT 2025 – PROMOTING THE FRENCH-ROMANIAN DIALOGUE FOR COMPETITIVENESS AND SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENT

CCIFER is a strategic partner of the Foreign Investors Summit 2025, a flagship event organized by Business Review, taking place on November 4, at The Marmorosch Bucharest.

Now in its 12th edition, the Foreign Investors Summit remains the most influential platform for dialogue between the international investment community, the diplomatic corps, and Romanian decision-makers. This year’s theme – “Exploring Romania’s investment potential in a changing global landscape” – highlights the challenges and opportunities for strengthening Romania’s economic competitiveness in a rapidly evolving global context.

The event will open with a keynote speech by His Excellency Mr. Nicolas Warnery, Ambassador of France to Romania, emphasizing France’s active role as a strategic partner of Romania and the two countries’ shared commitment to sustainable development, economic stability, and responsible investment.

During Panel 1 – “Capital incentives & economic stability: a framework for competitiveness”, Nicolas Richard, CEO of Engie Romania and President of CCIFER, will join a high-level discussion alongside Luca Niculescu (State Secretary, National Coordinator for Romania’s OECD accession process), Radu Hanga (President, Bucharest Stock Exchange), Daniel Anghel (Vice President, Foreign Investors Council & Country Managing Partner, PwC Romania), and René Schöb (Partner, KPMG Romania and Moldova – moderator).

The discussion will explore how coherent policies and fiscal stability can strengthen investor confidence and support Romania’s economic growth within a framework of sustainable competitiveness.

Through its active involvement, CCIFER continues to foster constructive dialogue between the French-Romanian business community and public authorities, strengthening partnerships that contribute to the modernization of the economy and the attraction of long-term investments.

The Foreign Investors Summit 2025 will bring together leaders from public administration, finance, energy, retail, real estate, and industry, as well as diplomatic representatives from across Europe, for a day of strategic analysis, idea exchange, and high-level networking.
