DLA Piper appoints Laura Ambrozie as the new head of Competition practice in Romania

2 November 2026 – Global law firm DLA Piper announces the appointment in Romania of Laura Ambrozie, Counsel, as Head of the Competition practice, consolidating the capabilities for a strategically important area of the firm’s full-service offering. Under her leadership, the Competition practice will continue to provide high standard services, clients' business tailored advice, working closely with the international DLA Piper network to offer support on demanding domestic and cross-border matters. 

Laura is a competition lawyer with over 15 years’ experience, helping multinational groups, market leaders and industry associations manage competition, merger control and FDI matters. Her work covers a broad range of sectors, while clients value Laura's clear, actionable guidance and her pragmatic approach to matters involving significant regulatory, financial and reputational considerations.
