Financial education courses and financial support for high schools through "I support financial education in my community" program, developed by JA Romania and Raiffeisen Bank

  • Starting February 17th, JA Romania and Raiffeisen Bank resume the "I support financial education in my community" initiative offering high schools solutions for online education.
  • By taking the ABCdar bancar financial education digital course, students can help their high schools receive financial support for technical equipment needed in class or distance learning.

JA Romania and Raiffeisen Bank continue the "I support financial education in my community" initiative offering high schools solutions for online education: financial literacy digital courses to educate about the responsible use of financial resources, free access to the JA Inspire LMS platform™, and the opportunity to receive financial support for technical equipment needed in school or distance learning.

High schools across the country can enroll in the program until May 14 and encourage their students to take the ABCdar bancar financial education course available on the JA Inspire educational platform™, accessible using any internet-connected device (smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC) or via Android and iOS apps.

Every student taking the ABCdar bancar financial education course can help their high school get financial support for technical equipment while also enjoying modern educational resources with immediate feedback, enabling them to learn the basics of budget planning, investments, modern payment methods and saving.

"An interesting course, in which I learned how important it is for me and my family to keep a budget and track our money so that everyday life can follow a normal and predictable path.” – said one of the students participating in the most recent edition of the program.

In previous editions, over 55,000 high school students completed the ABCdar bancar interactive digital module and 15 theoretical & technological high schools[1] in 11 counties gained financial support for technical equipment and other supplies.

Registrations begin February 17. More details about the calendar and the registration process are available at https://jar.ro/abcdarbancar.

The initiative, now at its fourth edition, is part of the financial education program developed, since 2010, by JA Romania in partnership with Raiffeisen Bank. From 2018, the ABCdar Bancar interactive digital version is available to all high schools participating in JA’s financial education program.
