Getting Ahead in Business through Foreign Languages, 4th edition – A_BEST conference, in collaboration with Teleperformance Romania

A_BEST, one of the largest independent foreign language centers in Romania is organizing the conference “Getting Ahead in Business through Foreign Languages”, 4^th edition in collaboration with Teleperformance Romania on 14th October 2020, starting at 5 pm. The speaker, Jose Kombo, Employer Branding Ambassador at Teleperformance Romania, will lead an interactive debate on the impact and importance of foreign languages in communication and CEX (Customer Experience).

The event will take place online, on Zoom, and is targeting HR professionals as well as managers from multinational companies.

During the conference “Getting Ahead in Business through Foreign Languages”, 4^th edition, Jose Kombo, the representative of  Teleperformance Romania, will tackle the following topics:

• How well is Romania ranked when discussing Romanians’ linguistic abilities as well as their interest in developing them, especially nowadays, taking into account the present socio-economic situation?
• The impact and importance of foreign languages in communication and CEX (Customer experience)
• The ability of candidates from a company to correctly self-evaluate and the consequences of the failure to do so.

“Getting Ahead in Business through Foreign Languages”, 4^th edition, is part of a series of events organized by A_BEST which aim to promote the importance of investing in training programs and foreign language courses that are adapted to the specific needs of trainees in corporations, according to the specific business  environment in Romania. For example, the previous three editions of the A_BEST event entitled “Getting Ahead in Business through German” had the following speakers: Magda Sandu, HR Manager at PORSCHE Finance Group Romania (1^st edition), Diana Burhală, Learning & Knowledge Leader at IBM Romania (2^nd edition) and Bogdan Barbu, Head of Centralized Branch Operations RO at Unicredit Business Integrated Solutions Gmbh (3^rd edition).

Access to the conference “Getting Ahead in Business through Foreign Languages”, 4^th edition, is by invitation only, with a limited number of seats and is free of charge. The event will take place live, online, on Zoom, from 5 pm.
