Interview with Mr. Răzvan Vasile, founder MBAKids & Mindset Mastery
Parents Gala – Education for the Future 2024
Nine O’Clock: What was the idea behind the “Parents Gala – Education for the Future” event?
Răzvan Vasile: The core idea of this event is to transform education by focusing on skill development and uncovering each child’s inner potential. We recognized the need to shift from traditional learning, which often relies on memorization, to an educational approach that fosters self-love, confidence, and the elimination of emotional blockages often ingrained from childhood.
At the heart of the “Parents’ Gala – Education for the Future” lies a profound and inspired vision to reshape the educational landscape. We designed this unique event with the desire to awaken and harness the latent potential within every child. In a world where traditional education often emphasizes information accumulation and standardized performance, we aim to offer a revolutionary alternative.
Our vision is one where education transcends the boundaries of rote learning, creating an environment where every child is seen and encouraged to explore and harness their unique talents and passions. We understand that each child is different, possessing a unique set of abilities and potential, and education should reflect this universal truth.
Furthermore, our Gala aims to address and eliminate the emotional obstacles that often hinder children from reaching their true potential. Many of these blockages, such as fear, shame, guilt, and procrastination, are often “programmed” in childhood and can persist throughout life. We will provide parents with tools and strategies to help children overcome these barriers, thereby cultivating an environment where self-love and confidence are not just encouraged, but flourish.
“Parents’ Gala – Education for the Future” is more than just an event; it is a movement, a call to action for parents, educators, and children alike, to embrace a new era in education. An era where education is not just seen as a path to academic success, but as a personal journey towards self-discovery, authenticity, and personal fulfillment.
Nine O’Clock: What major issues in the current school system inspired you to organise this event?
Răzvan Vasile: The current educational system often fails to align with the demands and challenges of modern society. A lack of focus on personal development, fostering creativity, and adapting to emerging technologies are some of the major issues that inspired me to organize this event.
In the present context, the traditional school system faces significant challenges that require an innovative and adaptable approach. One of the most pressing issues is the misalignment of the educational system with the dynamically changing requirements of modern society. This gap is the primary reason that inspired me to organize “Parents’ Gala – Education for the Future”.
Firstly, the current system often overlooks personal development. Education is not just about assimilating information and accumulating knowledge; it’s also about developing a well-rounded, creative, and adaptable individual. Encouraging and nurturing each student’s individual talents, whether artistic, technical skills, or interpersonal competencies, is essential. This holistic approach is crucial in preparing young people for the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing future.
Secondly, the current school system often fails to encourage creativity and innovation. In an era dominated by technology and continuous change, the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions is more valuable than ever. Creativity should not be limited to artistic subjects but integrated into all aspects of education, from sciences to humanities.
Lastly, adapting to emerging technologies is another critical aspect often underestimated in traditional education. Today’s children and youth live in a world where technology evolves at a dizzying pace, and it’s essential for education to keep up with these changes. This means not just integrating technology into the learning process but also preparing students to understand and efficiently navigate a continually transforming digital landscape.
“Parents’ Gala – Education for the Future” is our response to these challenges. By bringing together experts, innovation leaders, and parents, we aim to explore and implement new approaches that make education not just relevant but essential for the personal and professional development of future generations.
Nine O’Clock: Can you tell us how you think the notable individuals and experts in the field who were invited to the event fit into the objectives of the Gala?

They play a crucial role in shaping an integrated educational vision that responds to the real needs of children and parents in contemporary society.
The special guests at the Parents’ Gala – Education for the Future represent an innovative mix of thinkers, experts, and leaders from a variety of fields, each bringing a unique and essential perspective on the education and development of children in our ever-evolving society. These specialists not only share knowledge but are pioneers shaping the future of education, directly addressing the real needs of children and parents.
These experts and specialists highlight essential future skills, such as cognitive, interpersonal, self-leadership, financial, and digital abilities. Each expert contributes to a comprehensive picture of children’s education in the 21st century.
In the field of health and nutrition, specialists will emphasize the importance of a healthy and balanced lifestyle for children’s optimal development. They will provide parents with practical advice on creating a healthy eating routine and avoiding common pitfalls related to diet and hydration.
Regarding bullying and cyberbullying, strategies for identifying and combating these issues will be discussed. Experts will provide parents with tools to recognize signs of bullying and to support children in developing emotional resilience and self-confidence.
On career and vocation, the guests will explore ways for parents to guide their children in discovering their passions and talents, encouraging them to pursue a path that reflects their unique interests and abilities.
In the areas of psychonutrition and neurofitness, topics related to how diet and physical activity impact children’s mental health and academic performance will be addressed.
Finally, sessions on personal development and thought transformation will offer parents strategies to help children develop positive thinking, adaptability, and resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
With these valuable contributions, the Parents’ Gala will provide a unique platform for parents to learn, be inspired, and engage in constructive dialogue about the future of education and the development of their children. This is an extraordinary opportunity for parents to be part of an event that not only informs but transforms how we think and act in our role as parents.
Nine O’Clock: What impact do you anticipate these collaborations will have on shaping educational paradigms?
Răzvan Vasile: These collaborations are essential to shaping new educational paradigms that are more inclusive, adaptable, and focused on the comprehensive development of children. They contribute to creating an educational system that prepares children not only for the job market but also for life.
The collaborations established at the “Parents’ Gala – Education for the Future” represent a fundamental pillar in reshaping and revitalizing education. By bringing together a diverse mix of experts, thought leaders, innovators, and parents, these collaborations pave the way for new educational paradigms that transcend the limits of the traditional schooling system.
These partnerships are crucial in building an educational system that is proactive, not just reactive, in meeting the needs and aspirations of our children. Their impact extends beyond introducing new learning methods; they aim to create an educational environment that is more inclusive, adaptable, and holistic. In this context, education is seen not just as a means to prepare children for the job market but as an essential tool for preparing them for life.
Through these collaborations, we aim to provide children with skills and competencies essential in the 21st century – cognitive and interpersonal skills, self-leadership competencies, financial and digital abilities. More importantly, we focus on developing strong character, a sense of responsibility, and a deep understanding of personal and social values.
The future we envision is an educational system where each child is recognized and valued for their uniqueness, where curiosity and creativity are encouraged, and where children are equipped with the skills needed to navigate a complex and ever-changing world.
The role of these collaborations extends beyond the classroom; their impact spreads into communities, influencing how parents, teachers, and society at large understand and support the development of children. This is a transformative vision, promising to bring positive and lasting change to education and, by extension, to society.
Consequently, the Parents’ Gala is more than just an event; it’s a starting point for a remarkable educational journey that will profoundly impact future generations. It’s an open invitation for all parents to join this movement, embrace this new educational paradigm, and actively participate in shaping a bright future for our children.
Nine O’Clock: How does Gala want to provide parents with useful skills and techniques to deal with issues such as children’s mental health, digital literacy and job training in cutting-edge fields?

We will explore methods to cultivate emotional resilience, creativity, and critical thinking in children, equipping them for the challenges and opportunities of a constantly changing world.
Nine O’Clock: With the Gala coming to a close, how do you see the momentum for educational reform continuing and a community dedicated to continued innovation in parenting and education?

Nine O’Clock: How do you see the role of parents in their children’s education, especially in the light of the evolving skills needed in a rapidly changing society?
Răzvan Vasile: The role of parents in children’s education is crucial, especially in a rapidly changing world. Parents are not just primary educators but also role models, mentors, and supporters in their children’s journey of discovery and skill development. It is vital for parents to be aware and involved in the educational process, tailoring their support to meet the unique needs and abilities of each child.
In a constantly evolving world, the role of parents in their children’s education becomes increasingly vital and complex. Parents are not only the primary educators but also essential role models, mentors, and supporters in each child’s journey towards self-discovery and development. It’s crucial for parents to adopt a conscious and involved approach to education, customizing their support to match the unique needs and abilities of each child.
A key aspect of this role is recognizing and preserving each child’s uniqueness. It’s important to avoid “stealing” this uniqueness by imposing our own frustrations, fears, and negative beliefs. A child’s uniqueness fades when discipline is confused with punishment, especially when comparisons, criticisms, and verbal or physical violence are used. True discipline involves a mix of firmness, love, and empathy, not only forming successful and strong children but also helping them develop a healthy sense of self and independence.
The Benefits of Discipline in Education:
– Mistakes become valuable learning opportunities, not reasons for criticism or shame.
– Children learn the importance of their own opinions and decision-making.
– Relationships are based on mutual respect, with clear and understood rules and boundaries.
– Children learn to think critically and assess the consequences of their actions.
– Emotional management skills are effectively developed.
The Disadvantages of Punishment in Education:
– Repeated punishments can deeply affect a child’s self-esteem and self-worth.
– Children accumulate feelings of frustration, fear, and negative emotions.
– Children learn to be submissive and follow orders, not to think independently.
– A lack of self-confidence and trust in others develops.
– The relationships children form in the future can be marked by these negative experiences.
As parents, it is our responsibility to foster an educational environment that encourages growth, exploration, and affirmation of each child’s individuality. By adopting an approach based on discipline and empathy, we not only provide our children with the necessary tools to navigate a complex world but also ensure a solid foundation for them to become balanced, confident adults capable of gracefully and powerfully facing life’s challenges.
