We are all full of fears. For 2 years now. We are scared of diseases, loneliness, restrictions...
We fear, maybe for the first time, we all have the same enemy…
But for vulnerable families, the fear of COVID-19 is almost a luxury. Something optional. Because they have a lot of other fears to deal with daily before thinking of the new Coronavirus. The fear that the house will collapse during the night. The fear of dark, rain, winter…
If some things can’t be fixed, the fear of a mother that the ceiling will fall over her kids while sleeping or that the cold will get her family sick is something that you can change.
This year, we dare you to be the one that transforms this fear into hope!
If you wish to support us to build new homes for vulnerable families, please redirect 20% of the company’s Profit Tax to Habitat for Humanity Romania.
How can you get involved?
You can build homes and hope in a world full of fears by redirecting 20% of the company’s Profit Tax to Habitat for Humanity Romania, through a sponsorship contract to be paid by 31st of December 2021. It’s very simple and it’s free of charge for your company. That amount of corporate tax will go otherwise to the state budget.
Why do we need your help?
40% of our population, meaning almost half of the Romanian people, live in overcrowded households (Eurostat)
24,2% of the Romanian households don’t have indoor sanitary facilities (INSSE)
35.8% of Romania’s population is at risk of poverty (Eurostat)
What’s our promise?
Since 1996, the organization helped over 100,000 Romanians to have a welcoming home and has built or rehabilitated 5,000 homes with the support of over 42,000 volunteers.
We are more motivated than ever to follow our mission and to develop a world where every family has the right to live in a decent house. Now that we all understood how important is to have a place where you can “stay-at-home”.

About Habitat for Humanity Romania
Habitat for Humanity Romania builds decent houses for low-income families and rehabilitates public utility centers in vulnerable communities. The organization also runs natural disaster prevention and response programs, as well as advocacy initiatives related to social housing.
