MET Romania

MET Romania is one of the leading local providers of integrated energy services, with operations in the natural gas and electricity markets, including supply, consulting, balancing services and renewable energy generation. The company has more than 14 years of local market experience and is part of the MET Group, headquartered in Switzerland and present in 15 countries, 30 national gas markets and 22 international trading centres.

With a young but experienced team, MET Romania has become one of the most important companies that have taken on the responsibility of providing balancing services on the electricity market (BRP). The continuous growth places MET Romania as an important contributor to the energy sector within the country and a reliable market player, supporting at the same time the energy transition in the region.

In the context of joining CCIFER, an important moment for the company took place in August when MET Group announced the opening of its French subsidiary in Lyon.
