Optim PM appointed to deliver Hilton Garden Inn, a four-star hotel adjacent to Henri Coanda International Airport
Apex Alliance has appointed Optim PM to project manage the construction of the second Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Romania. Prominently and conveniently located, this four-star hotel is being built in close proximity of the Departures Terminal of Henri Coanda International Airport on a land area of 3,340 sqm and will have a total gross built area of approx. 14,200 sqm on 5 levels. Classed as a multifunctional building, it will have a height regime of 1B+GF+3F and the number of levels varies in different areas of the building.
As Project Manager, Optim PM is providing Construction Management services – managing a number of specialist constractors, Design and Cost Management, Site Inspection (Dirigentie de Santier) and Health & Safety Coordination. Additionally, Optim PM is also responsible for the FF&E procurement and installation as required by the brand standards and by design.
The hotel will boast 218 guest rooms, 92 parking places, a restaurant, meeting areas, conference rooms, fitness area and a courtyard. In addition from the hotel, there will also be a wing which will be dedicated for office facilities.
The opening date of the hotel is targeted to take place in Q2 2019.
Following their appointment by Apex Alliance, Optim Project Management successfully delivered the Hilton Garden Inn, in January 2018. The new 4-star hotel in the Old Town of Bucharest is offering 201 rooms, carefully integrated within a “historical monument” classified building. In the same Old Town area, Optim PM is project managing the construction of another two hotels, developed by Apex Alliance, namely the 5-star “Autograph” hotel and 3-star “Moxy” hotel both by Marriott offering 214 and 117 rooms respectively.
Outside of the City Centre towards the North of Bucharest, Optim PM is presently in charge with the delivery of the 4-star “Courtyard” also by Marriott, a 259 room hotel located on Dimitrie Pompeiu Blvd., Sector 1.
