The inSIGN studio was nominated with 9 projects at Elle Decoration Romanian Design Awards 2019

One of the most famous interior design contests in Romania is Elle Decoration Romanian Design Awards, this year at the fifth edition. The inSIGN studio has been nominated at this competition with 9 of its most valuable projects.

Among these projects, we include the Lobby Hotel Novotel, the Qreator Flagship by IQOS, the Lobby & Lounge Hotel Bicaz - Pirates Resort, as well as private spaces, projects that have been appreciated by national and international nominations and prizes.

This year's edition of the Elle Decoration Romanian Design Awards includes 3 sections of which the inSIGN studio entered in 2 categories: 4 projects in the category The best design of a private space and 5 projects in the category The best design of a public space. The projects entered in the contest will be judged by the Elle Decoration team and by the public through a secure online voting system. The winners of the contest will receive diplomas and trophies and will be promoted in the Elle Decoration magazine and in other publications belonging to the Ringier group.

Among the private spaces category are the projects: "House in modern style", "Family house in eclectic style", “House in modern style with luxury accents” (on shortlist at The International Design & Architecture Awards) and "House designed in eclectic style".

In the public spaces section, the following projects were nominated: "Concept design Qreator flagship by IQOS" (shortlisted at The International Hotel & Property Awards 2018), "Novotel Hotel - modern interior design" (shortlisted at The International Hotel & Property Awards) , "Hotel Bicaz - Pirates Resort in Mamaia" (Guest Review Award 2018), "Vintage-Industrial Office Spaces" and "Brit Café – Café in Art British style".

In the same category was nominated "Family House in eclectic style" - an eclectic residence located in Bucharest, which is a perfect mix between the designers' creativity and the wishes of the clients. The house has a living, dining, kitchen and a fascinating reading area in a generous open-space, which translates into a world of relaxation. The details of the living room, both with classic and contemporary accents, create an eclectic atmosphere, full of personality. The project can be supported by voting here:

Public spaces

The first project with which inSIGN was nominated in this category is "Concept Design Qreator Flagship by IQOS (nominated this year at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards)". The design created by inSIGN is meant to reflect the concept of the product around which the activities hosted at Vila Oromolu are developed. The interior design of this interior is based on a harmonious symbiosis between technology and nature, the user accessing a friendly, comfortable and empathic space. The IQOS Store gathers dynamic features, organic shapes and structures that translate into a contemporary design. The designers aims to create an unexpected experience, inviting users to discover, touch, explore a new universe. Ventilated and generous spaces, antithesis between natural and technological materials, create multisensory experiences.

The second project with which inSIGN entered in this category is "Hotel Novotel - Modern interior design". The inSIGN team has created a welcoming, cozy & fresh fit with cream colored and beige tones, highlighted by strong color accents. The whole concept has been built around the curved lines and organic elements that work together in this unitary modern space. Patricia Urquiola (Rift Couch), Ferruccio Laviani (Suspended Supernova bodies), Anderssen & Voll (Ottoman KIPU Poufs) and Hee Welling (Auki Chairs) complete the interior design in an original way. Each decorative element participates in creating a lobby that invites the guests of this 4 star hotel to socializing.
