• Igor Sikorski – Nutanix Executive / Eastern Europe

Igor Sikorski is a Nutanix Executive for Central and Eastern Europe, based in Warsaw, Poland.

Igor started his career working for well-known US IT corporations like Cisco.

He pioneered modern, software-defined data center and Private Cloud concepts to Eastern Europe. In 2015 he opened the CEE branch of US startup SimpliVity.

He continued this mission with Microsoft, to join – in 2019 - the global leader in Hybrid Multicloud Cloud: Nutanix.

Igor Sikorski graduated from the Technical University of Łódź and earned his MBA from the University of Illinois.

• GORAN MARTIĆ – networking and data center architect

​​​​​Goran holds Bachelor and Master degrees in computer Networking and Communications from Faculty of Computing (RAF) in Belgrade, Serbia.

Goran is also a cofounder and CTO in NetCast a cloud & managed service provider, and consultant for a major US multicloud vendor.

Goran still finds joy in working as Teaching Assistant at RAF, in the areas of distributed computing, datacenter infrastructure and networking.

He is a Cisco (2013) and Nutanix (2021) certified trainer.

The world has changed a lot in the last 18 months. Satya Nadela of Microsoft recently said that he has seen two years' worth of digital transformation in just two months. Every single industry has been impacted - healthcare, education, retail. It’s all changing. While companies are focusing on cost reduction, they also must innovate.

IT Departments need to work alongside operational units every day to help them stay open for business in a world of remote everything.

Five years ago, CIOs believed their most important skill was technology know-how. Today, they believe it is contributing to corporate strategy. 80% of CIOs believe their role has increased in importance over the last five years.

There are really three main pillars of digital transformation that matter the most, and that are being driven by IT: Revenue Growth, Customer Experience, and Employee Experience.

To keep up with change and enable business transformation, a new IT strategy is often required. And that new IT strategy is hybrid multicloud.  Recent surveys showed that hybrid multicloud is the preferred operating model by most IT leaders.
