Cross University of Bucharest Cora Lujerului Challenge
On May 19, the fans of outdoor sports had the opportunity to take part at the 26th edition of the University of Bucharest cora Lujerului cross Challenge.
The Cross was organized in partnership by the cora Lujerului, the University of Bucharest, the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Erka Synergy Communication Agency with the support of the Bucharest City Hall.
The event, which brought together about 3,000 runners, had a humanitarian component besides the sports and educational ones. The registration was free of charge, but the participants could make donations to the M.A.M.E. Association, that runs campaigns and events to help children diagnosticated with cancer.
Each year, the event promotes a healthy life among young people and not only, by practicing sports. This year, the categories the participants registered were: children aged 6 to 11, adolescents between 12 and 18 years of age, University of Bucharest students and Erasmus students, seniors, aged between 19 - 41 years old, employees of Bucharest University and cora Lujerului, veterans aged 42 and over 42.
The awards were substantial, and the finalists' award ceremony was held in cora Lujerului parking lot. After the ceremony, a traditional raffle took place and a lucky participant at the cross had the chance to win a bicycle, sponsored by cora Lujerului.
