Dentons and PPC Romania team up on pioneering a utilities procurement compliance guide

Global law firm Dentons together with the legal and procurement departments of PPC Romania, the leading clean energy company in Southeast Europe, team up on pioneering a utilities procurement compliance guide, an innovative tool designed to provide support in the daily operations of companies within the PPC group, with the aim of enhancing procurement processes.

The guide covers the main steps involved in the practical implementation of a utilities procurement procedure within PPC Romania, based on the relevant Romanian procurement regulations, the applicable European regulatory framework, and the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

The guide explains the essential steps in a utlilities procurement process, and effectively translates legal provisions in a structured, user-friendly, and succinct format. This guide includes decision- making matrices and interactive checklists, which assist users in documenting decisions throughout the utilities procurement processes and in efficiently allocating resources.

PPC Romania team included Alina Dumitrascu, Monica Paraschiv, and Andreea Lazaroiu, while Dentons was represented by Oana Voda, Head of the Public Procurement practice at Dentons Romania.
